Through specialized one-on-one and group mentoring programs, YG mentors and volunteers help prepare local youth to overcome life's challenges and become successful adults. Our kids experience, through mentoring programs, the way business operates. Programs for younger children teach basic concepts and then progress to hands-on training as they get older.
The manufacturing and trade sector is growing, offering many well-paying jobs. However, there is a shortage of skilled workers. Introducing children to the trades at an early age presents them with career opportunities and helps fill a crucial gap in our nation's workforce.
